FAQ

Shipping and Processing

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide! We can ship to any countries which are currently accepting parcels from the USPS.

Please see the following link for an up to date list of countries not accepting mail from USPS.

How long does shipping take?

USA: USPS Ground Advantage
Shipping takes 2-5 business days (not including HI, AK, offshore)

Rest of World: Pirate Ship's Simple Export
Shipping takes 2-8 weeks

Shipping times are estimates, not guaranteed, and subject to the same courier delays as all other mail (holidays, weather, etc).

How long will it take to make my order?

Typical order processing time is 1-2 weeks, but can be faster depending on the amount of orders we need to fulfill each week. Specialty finishes (matte or glitter overlay) are subject to an additional week. During peak sales times (yearly Black Friday Sale, new product drops/releases) processing time may be extended by 1-2 weeks. Processing times are due to the vast majority of items being made-to-order.

Rush orders and rush shipping are possible and may be subject to additional fees if needed to meet the deadline. Feel free to reach out with inquiries via email.

How can I track my order?

All shipments come with tracking info included at no additional cost. You will receive a shipping confirmation via email with a tracking number and link that you can use to see the progress of your shipment.

When you receive a shipping confirmation via email, this means that your order is about to be packed for shipping. Please allow 1-2 business days after shipping confirmation receipt for tracking to update.

Please note that we do not have any more information than you do- we can only see the same information from the tracking number.

If something goes wrong during shipping, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email.

Why does international shipping cost that much?

This is a super fair question. We understand that across most businesses in the USA, the international shipping fees are just ridiculously high. One thing to understand about USA->international shipping is that the price gets higher with the weight of the item. Our products are on the larger/heavier side, and so shipping tends to be more than you might expect.

As much as we would like to make it more affordable, TETRAWORLD's international shipping fees are as cheap as they can possibly get. We will always make every attempt to accomodate our international customers, including using our favorite 3rd party shipping service (PirateShip's Simple Export) that requires additional manual work on our part in exchange for better rates.

Livery Kits

What vinyl are your products made from?

We use a variety of films and overlaminates from Substance, Avery Dennison, General Formulations, and Orafol. For all products, we aim to achieve a balance of affordability and quality. All of our films are rated for at least up to two years outdoors: Printed films and decals are laminated to provide excellent UV and water resistance for up to an additional 2-4 years outdoors.

How do I care for my vinyl to make sure it lasts?

There are several factors that go into the lifespan of vinyl, but the number one factor is sun exposure. Limiting sun and heat exposure is the best possible way to increase the lifespan of your vinyl.

Other ways to increase the longevity of vinyl include:

- Professional install

- Keep it clean

- Avoid automatic car washes with unknown cleaning agents and extremely high heat which can in rare cases damage vinyl finish

How do I install/remove a livery kit?

We always recommend professional installation and removal from a reputable wrap shop.

However, if you wish to DIY, all kits come with instructions that give you all of the tips and tricks we have compiled over the years as well as instructions for doing your own digital mockup of the livery you purchased on your car.

When removing vinyl, you MUST use heat, and remove patiently. Before you DIY, please do your own research. There are plenty of amazing resources online with additional detailed information on vinyl installation and removal.

I messed up a piece while installing, can I buy a replacement piece?

We are generally happy to provide replacement pieces when needed with shipping at buyer's expense-- just reach out to us via email.

Are your livery kits beginner friendly?

Each design is different, so there is a range of difficulty levels. While vinyl experience is always a plus, we have seen first-time vinyl installers install the most difficult products without issue.

The most important things for a successful install are an abundance of patience, informing yourself with research beforehand, and a friend (large pieces of vinyl in complex shapes can be difficult to hold up while installing alone).

Can I install a livery kit on top of wrap? Ceramic coating?

Yes, and yes!

Installing vinyl on top of vinyl is okay but is almost always permanent. Removing the top layer of stacked vinyl tends to pull the layer underneath up with it.

Ceramic coating can hinder the application of vinyl in some cases, especially when the ceramic coating is fresh. It will be more difficult to stick vinyl to it, however it is not impossible. Livery kits are a lot less subject to this hinderance than full wraps, because livery kits do not need to be stretched around panel edges/corners in the same way that full wraps do.

If your car has been recently painted, you should make sure to wait at least one month for the paint to fully cure before applying any vinyl on top of it. The same goes for ceramic coating. We'd advise asking your painter/installer what they recommend in terms of cure time.

TETRAWORLD

Can you make a custom livery?

It depends! If you want an existing livery kit in a different color, we can usually make that happen. Small changes to existing kits also tend to be simple enough (for example, a Star Rush Livery Kit but the shapes are hearts instead of stars- we do this custom kit a lot).

More complicated projects really depend on what you are looking for.

Feel free to send us an email and chat about the project!

Can you make an itasha wrap?

We can absolutely print itasha wraps and other large graphics, but we do not currently offer itasha design services.

However, our friends over at StyleUp do! They are a great company to work with, produce excellent designs, and we highly recommend them.

Can you print my stickers?

We do custom work, yes! We offer printed decals, kiss-cuts, die-cuts, large format print/cut... Basically, if you see something similar in our shop to what you want to have made, we can make it for you too. We work with several other artists, brands, companies, and would be happy to work with you as well.

Our MOQ (minimum order quantity) is 10 per design, per finish, with a total of 40 minimum per order.

If you would like a quote, please reach out via email with the designs you want printed, the quantity of each, and the size of each. Once we receive this information, we are able to give a price.

Are you hiring?

We are always looking to work with new designers and artists in the 2D and 3D space! Please do reach out if you are interested in working together. Regarding product manufacturing or fulfillment, we are not looking for help or services at this time.

Do you do sponsorships?

Very rarely, but sometimes. Usually, if we're looking for a home for a new kit design, we'll post an Instagram story about potential sponsorships.

However, we're open to inquiries. This is what we're looking for:
- Car body is clean, lowered, high quality parts used in the build.
- Individual actively posts high quality content of the car on social media. Multiple photo or video posts every week, with a long-standing history of this level of activity.

If you feel you meet the above two criteria and would like to run a kit, feel free to email us and share your social media~

Substantial social media following is not a requirement. Participating in drift events is a huge bonus, but also not a requirement.

Who runs TETRAWORLD?

Hi! I'm Tetra, the sole owner and operator of TETRAWORLD. I design and manufacture the vast majority of our products myself, as well as handling all of our order fulfillment, administrative work, media, communications, and.. everything else.

After a couple of years of preparation, acquiring equipment, and lots of trial and error, in December, 2023 I launched TETRAWORLD's first product release. Then, in April of 2024 I quit my 3 years long corporate career as a Software Engineer (I was a P3 in devops specializing in cloud infrastructure) to pursue TETRAWORLD full time.

I'm very proud of how far TETRAWORLD has come in such a short time, and am incredibly grateful to our customers for their trust and support.
